"The suavest of all male cabaret performers." --New York Times

Celebrated cabaret pianist/vocalist/humorist, Steve Ross performs the music of the Transatlantic Songbook with songs by and stories about such classic composers as the Gershwins, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Stephen Sondheim, Charles Trenet and Noel Coward - with special nods to Edith Piaf and Fred Astaire.

Steve has performed around the country and around the world in every kind of venue – from Rio de Janeiro to Sydney, from Carnegie Hall to Lincoln Center and from cabarets to theaters.

“So many of the songs we sing are about love in some form or other; it’s the emotion we’re always trying to be reminded of most of all.”  - Steve Ross

Grammy nominated pianist/vocalist, Judy Carmichael, the host of our Loading Dock Jazz Inspired Series, will join Steve, her frequent performance partner and longtime friend, on vocal and piano duets.

Judy and Steve debuted their “Fred and Ginger” inspired pairing at Manhattan’s Tavern on the Green (Judy’s first time singing!) and continued with collaborations at the Algonquin’s Oak Room and London’s Pizza on the Park.
